So wait, lemme follow this logic.
LSixU was more talented than Bama in 21 of 22 positions on the field. Ok.
Lynrd didn't run for shite (this yr or last yr) but his OLine sucked?
Great fricking logic. If the "greatest RB of this decade" can't do shite then who's to blame,LF or the oline? Keep in mind you're apparently more talented than us at 21 of 22 positions.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good argument, guy.

Facts like you had 2 late scoring drives and your superior QB turned the ball over. Facts like that? ok.

Bama had multiple extended drives, turnovers, and 2 scores. None of that was in dispute.
We were talking drives and ball control. You changed the argument to scoring drives to create a strawman to alter the original point.
If you think the LSU dline, oline, and or QB are better than those of Bama, that's your POV. Cool.
I hope they remain that much better for the next 6 match ups.
Mind you, I never said LSU didn't have a really good line on either side... just that Bamas was better at least for that day.

In 22 positions on the field the night we played, how many were LSU "most talented" at? I'll wait

If the game ended after the 3rd no one could say alabama dominated anything. Bama had 2 long drives in the 4th which proved they were the better team. Their dline was better than our oline for the entire game. Our d was better than their o for 3/4 of the game. Bama is the better team with the better coach.
Who has the better talent i would say its a push since the game was in the air for so long. Having superior coaching was probably the push that was needed.

No argument here.
Incredible D effort by LSU. The only one on one match up that was won regularly against the LSU D was Bozeman on Gilmore.
Gilmore rarely backed Bozeman up and didn't crash down to disrupt multiple lanes and clog the middle. Aranda would have certainly adjusted, but I thought the only real missed opportunity in the game against such a stout LSU defensive effort was that mismatch. There were opportunities to run inside... sometimes I miss the I formation and power run game.
Honestly, I couldn't imagine a better game. Absolutely, the best series in recent years in all of CFB. Great fans, personalities, and teams. Very little separates the two teams in terms of talent.

I would say top 5 team right now (according to Vegas)... and I totally agree with the most overrated player in CFB. I love Fournette and he is an athletic freak but Derrius Guice is and will be a better running back.

Before you try to pull me down the rabbit hole, let's examine how this side bar got started.
An exuberant LSU fan stated that LSU is the most talented team. You responded with:
I provided evidence to show that LSU is in the top 1%. Then you got all sensitive and wanted to have a breakdown of who had the better starters.
I still want to know why you think being in the top 1% is being "far" from the most talented team. It seems to me that once you get to the top 3 teams, the difference is subjective, and performance is differentiated more by coaching than by talent.
And now you're getting defensive, who said anyone on Alabama's roster sucked? can't you just explain why you think LSU is "far" from being the most talented, even though they are in the top 1%, without feeling like someone said your team sucked?

There is no logic, it is all subjective. Why would anyone consider a top 1% team in terms of talent as being far from the top?
It's not far, as I stated above, the difference in performance at that level is due more to coaching than talent.
It's just that you bamatards just can't stand anyone not bowing and scraping to your football team. Relax, why would you care so much? What matters more, winning the championship, or having the most talented team?

If the "greatest RB of this decade"
Link to where I said that, please.
I'm not even really making the claim that LSU is more talented than Alabama, I'm just saying LSU is not "far" from being the most talented, and any distinction at this level is subjective.
Clearly, the performance at QB was better for Alabama than LSU in the game. That was the only clear difference.

LSU fans...why y'all get so defensive when people DO NOT heap praise upon LSU athletics? Serious question.

They showed they have the defense to hang with Bama. They can hang with anyone due to the defense. You couldn't defend putting them in the top 4 due to the losses, however they would crush top teams that can't defend the run.
P.S. The OP is a constant troll and frankly should be banned.

I don't.
I'm not looking for praise, just an answer to why someone would think LSU was far from having the best talent when an objective analysis shows LSU to be in the top 1%.
It's not rocket science, you know. (At least I don't think we need to make any metric conversions, but then there was that whole Mars Climate Orbiter thing...)

Did you really expect LSU fans to not defend their team when your title includes them being overrated?
Are you not smart enough to understand that if you try to instigate something negative about a program that their fans might push back?
Cmon Kills use some common sense here. Good job at poking the bear initially but now you're just getting sloppy.

Awesome defense. LSU has always had good defense and you carry the banner well. However, LSU talent is nowhere near the level of talent at Bama right now.
