I've heard LSU fans called a lot things in my time, pollyanna's is not one of them. BTW its not just LSU fans thinking LSU will be really good in 2012. Do you honestly thing one bad performance is going to derail the entire program? I mean I know you guys are full of yourselfs but that's a bit much. The offense looked pitiful, to say the D looked like "broke dick dogs" is dishonest. They stuffed your running game and only broke down on that one play when it was over and they were worn out.
We'll see how it plays out, but LSU has way too much talent, many of whom didn't play that big of a role last year to say they will just roll over.

I think that went over your head. I'm sure you were one of those rantards that believed the 2011 LSU team was the best ever, before being abused on January 9th. Thus, you felt you couldn't lose. So, I would suggest not making statements of absolution that LSU "will not lose in 2012".

The only teams to beat LSU the last 2 years are the teams than won the BCS CG and an 11 win Ark team. 99 Bama lost to La and in the Orange Bowl.
I don't know what off field problems Bama had in 2000, but i don't know of any at LSU right now either.

LSU may very well lose 3 games next year. But if we do, it will have nothing to do with some sort of spell cast upon the program by lord saban, as the op suggests.

At this point Saban & Miles have indentical 72% career winning percentage, the future is more like Woody Hayes vs Bo (Schembechler 5-4-1) than Bear vs Paterno(Bear 4- O) or Paterno vs Bowden (Joe 7-1)

LSU will struggle in 2012 more than people realize and bama will not have as big a drop-off than people thought pre-jan 9th.
This has been the theme of this board for several weeks and it isn't going anywhere. Like I said a couple pages ago, it's going to be several months before they're brought back down to Earth
