Anything can happen, but get real. Look at our schedule. Show me 3 or more losses.
The same could be said for bama. Maybe they won't have that hungry feeling and will slip because of it?
It goes both ways. More likely the latter since LSU will still BR hungry and return the core of the team.

1 game, played 9 months before the 2012 season will derail what is clearly one of the most talented teams coming back?

Sounds like something I might have posted back in Feb 2000. Bama was preseason #3 and went 3-8 because of a lot of off-field shite. We had a bumbling coach that didn't seem to have it under control. Sound familiar?

Not at all. Miles is not a bumbling coach, and he has it under control. If adversity happens it only makes us stronger as you witnessed last year. Perhaps we should have had a few suspensions before the NC?

Not really. Were you guys coming off of a loss in the NC game? You can try to draw parallels between past and present football seasons, but they simply have no relation to one another.
The intangibles are in LSU's favor for 2012, not bama's

No, not at all
Alabama lost 3 games in 1999 including 1 to La Tech
, in 2011 LSU went 13-1, beat everyone we played, including 3 teams ranked in the final top 5. What off the field problems are we having? BTW. Also your bumbling coach took over a 10 win team and proceeded to win 4 and then 7 games his first 2 years. Ours has won 11 games 4 different times, a NC and 2 SEC titles. So, no your situation in 2000 doesn't sound anything like ours going into 2012.
