In response to OP, I’ve never seen people worked up into such a frenzy over a special teams coach. Special teams is usually coached by committee anyway.

Most coaches that leave Alabama leave for a promotion, but since Saban did not want to promote them they can't cut it.

You mussed the entire point.

Then maybe you should make it clearer, because that is essentially what you hinted at.

Head to head CNS has outcoached CKS on the field in two games that UGA could have won.

Out coached? You could try to make that point....if you want to argue his chosen starting QB could not get the job done so he desperately went to the backup and struck gold.

Saban is a great coach. But I don't think there is a whole lot of doubt that the empire seems to be slipping a bit. Even slipping he is a great coach.

Auburn fans come up with the dumbest excuses. What advantage does that give to a school?

CKS>>>>>CGM, but he ain’t Saban level.

The only people claiming he is, is other fan bases. And they, of course, claim that georgia fans say Kirby is as good as Saban. Can you show me somebody that has said it? I remember Auburn fans saying Malzahn was going to beat Alabama regularly.

I’m not a Malzahn defender, but I must recognize that wins in 2013,2017 and 2019 give Malzahn a decent record against Saban.

Kirby lost the SECCG to Alabama because he allowed an obvious fake punt to be run.

Kirby has won a bunch of games, but he should have a Nattie.

Never meant to imply that you were. Simply pointing out what most, if not all Auburn fans were saying after 2013. And, please don't try to say that there were plenty of Auburn fans that were not firmly on the "Gus Bus" after 2013.

So, it is your opinion that after his 1st choice at QB to start the game was taken out that is when they scored most of their points? Had Tua been 100% healthy, Jalen Hurts would not have gotten on the field. Let's not pretend it was some great coaching decision by Saban that won that game.

Yep. I wonder how many 4th year head coaches have won Natties? Not many, I would be willing to bet.

Maybe not 4 years of experience, but many win a nattie within 4 years of getting a big job like UGA.

Saban won one at LSU his 4th year; third year at Bama.
Meyer won won with quickness at Florida and Ohio State.
Myles won in third year at LSU.
Bob Stoops won early with Sooners.
Pete Carrol did not take 10 years to win a nattie at USC.
Dabo took a bit longer at Clemson, but he is rolling now.

Georgia should win a nattie. So much talent in state.
I think it will happen sooner or later.
