What are you nuts? You compared Fromm to Greene and said their similarities were striking. I simply mentioned that Fromm played in a National Championship game.

I mean, it's not like Auburn parades 2013 around.

Probably would’ve been much different for Richt if he had a playoff like Kirby does now.

Probably? You are guessing? Yep. You're an Auburn fan. make statements of fact when in fact they are guesses and insinuations.

Everybody has to have proof to call Auburn out for paying Cam Newton, but they feel free to insinuate and guess on everybody else.

Seeing that Marshall was a db playing the qb position this doesn’t really help your argument. Thanks for helping mine though.

Then you agree that Marshall was garbage and cost Auburn a National Championship?

Then you want to give Auburn a pass because they were incapable of recruiting a "real" QB?

Okay. We can run with that.

Until Smart wins a NC. Til then he still wouldnt have won the big games. The East is weaker now than pretty much any year under Richt.

Duh. Yet you fail to realize that Kirby wins the east every year, and...news flash...the east had a abetter record h2h against the west last year. That says more about the west than it does the east. Crap. Outside of Alabama the west is garbage. Thank goodness LSU is good this year.

did Fromm cost Georgia the natty

I understand that most want to just focus on the one busted coverage that lost the game.

But there is blame to be placed on a lot of areas; including Fromm.

UGA is up 20-7 middle 3rd quarter and intercepts Tua. UGA has the ball in Bama 39 with arguably the hottest kicker in the land. So UGA should slam the door by going up 16 that’s 3 scores. Fromm forces a pass when he should have eaten it or thrown it away; it hits a helmet(his fault) and it’s intercepted( his fault). Bama settles down goes and gets 3.. and a at minimum 2 TDs both needing 2 point conversions gets changed to a 10 point game. Bama only scores 1 TD in regulation... the door would have been slammed with just the FG.... Bama took the momentum and UGA got tight and lost the game.

From the interception Fromm goes 2-5 and takes 3 sacks the rest of the way.

So he has some blame absolutely... but it wasn’t all his fault.

Fields around

In all honesty...NO!!... and I like Fields; I think he is a star and a better player.

However I think Ryan Day is abetter QB coach; and offensive mind than what’s at UGA. It is a better fit for JF1. It probably was the better fit along.

Fromm does fit what KS likes to do better.

Can we go ahead and end this now please?

UGA is 11-3 vs. Auburn since 2006. You War Liger are quite literally our b1tch.

Using Leaf is a bad comparison. Leaf was very talented. He was just an emotional and mental wreck. He did not make it because of lack of QB skills.

So mental is not a relevant trait for a QB?

Come on. You are telling me you would rather have Leaf than Manning? I mean, the only thing wrong with Leaf was his mental state.

The point was that all the scouts thought Indianapolis should pick Leaf because he "looked" better. The poster I was talking to said that Fields "looks" to be better than Fromm. You really don't see how Leaf is the perfect example to pull from?

Kind of like beating Georgia is a foreign concept to Auburn fans? Like that?

Watching both qbs play, fields doesn’t look like he was given a good opportunity.

Maybe learn how to watch football properly then.

Fromm isn’t asked to run an offense like a Ohio state does. Georgia wants to run the ball and play good defense. Just because Fromm doesn’t put up gaudy numbers doesn’t mean Fields is better or that Fromm isn’t elite. If Fromm were at Ohio State he’d look better than Fields does.

Gus has beat Bama just as many times as he's beat UGA in his tenure. TWICE

In short...Gus can't seem to beat Georgia, Alabama or LSU.

But he can beat ever lovin' daylights out of Arkansas!

Seems to struggle with Tennessee, too. But that extension, though!

Bitter? Now what the heck does any UGA fan have to feel bitter about? We are good and getting better every year and we OWN AU body and soul.

Allowing Justin Fields to get away will turn out to be a big misstep for Smart and even though there’s a ton of talent their numbers are eerily similar.

No

Nothing like CMR

Simply compare the way both Recruit OLs and you'll know he's nothing like CMR, for some reason Richt could never Recruit OLs and always ended up with finesse teams
