You have been reduced to hoping a parking garage attendant gets fired.

Do you have a grownup job? A parking attendant doesn’t authorize use of state property. The real world has accountability when dealing with government (in this case state funds via the UGAAD).

You have never dealt with company or state property. You have never played organized sports, and I know you are atleast in your mid 20s if not older from your CFN days. And this is a guess but I’m guessing you are a virgin too. How sad is your existence.

Perhaps the most unoriginal thought of your repetitive, but consistently inaccurate

How is it inaccurate when I’ve just asked legitimate questions and commented after they have been answered by UGA spokespeople?

I asked who provided the vehicle. It is now verified that the UGAAD provided the vehicle as part of an authorized UGA recruiting event. Now the question remains why was the vehicle used for a trip to a strip club. The official stance is it was unauthorized. But why did they have the vehicle if the event was unauthorized.

Edit: why it matters. If the vehicle was being used in an unauthorized manner and UGA knew about it and made no attempt to to have the vehicle turned in or report it as missing/overdue. Then it is de facto granting permission for its use. And that’s an issue with the state IG that would require investigations and loss of privilege of use for the department pending the results of the investigation. If it was widespread or common practice then the IG or AD will need to fire a bunch of folks and likely end the practice and pay any lawsuits filed by the family. And it’s a terrible look for the school

I posted today because information that was common knowledge was finally acknowledged by the UGA AD today. And likely will not post in it again until the question about the funds is answered.

The vehicle was rented for the "Celebration Weekend."

The group was downtown and visited more than one venue.

The poor girl apparently lost control trying to avoid some deer crossing the road. (About 100 yards from the river)

They were on their way to a Waffle House.

The only issue that remains is a toxicology report.

NCAA is not an issue, the GA OIG would be an issue.

Lying about them hitting a deer is just as disingenuous as saying alcohol was involved. The fact is the only things that are known to this point is that she was using a rented car not technically working, was at the bar with the player, and crashed going high speeds at 3am. Do the math.

Do we know she was driving too fast? You’re presenting it as fact so I’m curious.

Barnett Shoals is a straight stretch of road in that area as they were headed to the Waffle House on Gaines School Road.

I'm waiting on the toxicology report like everyone else.

Yes, excessive speed was a contributing factor per the police report. Waiting on 2 last bits of information, toxicology report and were school funds used.

This is rich coming from a UT fan. I recall a murder on the UT campus involving a football player and the investigation was conducted by CAMPUS SECURITY. So it wasn’t hard to understand why nothing much was done.

What are you talking about? UT doesn't have campus security, it has a PD. And that PD turns everything major over to KPD. But seriously, I don't even know what incident you're speaking of.

No one of consequence rents the vehicle and then hands the keys to a staffer for recruiting.

“Not having an original thought” is most applicable to you constantly recycling the “you don’t have an original thought” response when you are proven wrong. It’s a pathetic defense mechanism if yours.

quote:

But why did they have the vehicle if the event was unauthorized.

Because the staffer didn’t return it after the assigned duties were finished. A 15 year old would be able to reach that conclusion, so what is your excuse for not?

made no attempt to to have the vehicle turned in or report it as missing/overdue.

Back to the parking lot att you want fired so badly.

“He should have called 911 to report the vehicle stolen!” is basically your point. Can’t say it’s the dumbest one of yours ever, but it’s down there

Athens is a big time party town.

Stetson is in Texas.

How you didn’t know both of those facts says a lot about your intellect.
