Yeah, that's just not gonna happen. And it won't even be out of some 'legacy' or 'blue-blood' rationalization. It'll be because Bama has pretty much dominated football for long enough now that if the phrase "the benefit of the doubt" applies to anyone, it applies Bama until they start actually declining again.

Yup... that's why I made a similar statement in the other comment... there are too many moving parts to make a definitive statement honestly... really have to see how the season plays out, and at that point, it's all decided anyways... But if I'm presuming that UGA wins out the regular season, yeah... would be preferable to not face Bama if you get to wave a magic wand. The reality is that they'll be there in all likelihood.
