This is all so absurd. They came first for the CSA monuments, and the Southern racists, but they have already started going after anyone they deem insufficiently non racist. Our founding fathers first bill after signing the Constitution was to restrict immigration so that only
"White men of good character" could become citizens. They also kept lying to the Native Americans, each treaty being violated over and over till the Natives had lost almost everything. So why should non Southern imperfect men get a pass?

The overwhelming majority were peaceful protesters, peaceful protest is important because it means our Democracy is working, just like any large gathering there were opportunists that used the protests as cover for their criminal looting
When the Super Bowl goes to a city all kinds of scammers and thieves descend on that city to take advantage of a legit event, same goes for the protests
If certain segments of society understood equal treatment under the law , that is when we'll really be better off
