I don’t know why anyone is worked up over Dabo being evil or worked up defending Dabo. He’s already announced he’ll stop coaching if players begin getting paid so it’s all a moot point either way.
Surely he’ll stick to his guns and wasn’t just being a titty baby drama queen about that was he?

Dabo is safe. Clemson may very well change the name of some buildings, but that area is white as cotton. Take a drive from Aiken, SC to Clemson one day. Drive up along the lakes and count the number of Confederate battle flags you see.

Dabo is actually from Alabama and played for the Crimson Tide, he's very much connected to Bama.

Dabo has never been likeable. He acts a lot like Reverend Freeze.
It’s gonna be hard for the public to sympathize with him.
However, that doesn’t really matter. A lot of players are coming to his defense there’s only so much sports journalists can do when players start disputing your ‘hot takes’.
All that being said, I dont know all the ins and outs of the Dabo controversy so I wont judge him that much. However, Clemson’s Tillman building is beyond reprehensible and stupid.
The fact that it’s still named that shows the world that Clemson still has some very racist people pulling its strings and maybe even high up in the university leadership. That’s toxic, and I think a lot of that toxicity will start to come to light - similar to when Ole Miss got their mascot taken away.
