Is Clemson really that good?

Haven’t seen a single Clemson game this year, so looking for some input.
It’s hard to believe that they are better than Bama with their extra soft ACC schedule this year. I know the SEC seems “down”, but we have no OOC frame of reference either.
This seems like a season where Saban just walks right up to the championship, but IDK. Maybe OSU makes some noise or something.

Clemson can turn it on in the big game. They played down to their schedule this year, and were not super impressive offensively or defensively. Then the ACC championship game happened.

Alabama won one of its last 2 games against Clemson 24-6.

In one they got stomped. In the other they did the stomping. LSU drug them pretty good last year. They ain’t the 85 Bears or anything, but they are a really good team.

What do the last 10 years have to do with anything? I’m talking 2020 Bama vs 2020 Clemson.
This is a harder to judge season because of in-conference only competition.

They are good but i think bama holds the edge on Offense.

They are good, but not as good as years past. In the first quarter of yesterdays game ND pissed away an easy chance to go up 14-0. Then they blew like 3 plays on defense and let Clemson pile on some TDs. NDs offense isn't that good, and is definitely not built to come from behind.

Lol, Clemson will hammer Bama’s offense. I think whoever has the ball last will win, but don’t act like Bama is 2019 LSU. They are not!
