I disagree on this, most good coaches don’t give a shite but there are probably some ego coaches who want to be known as beating the spread. A year or two ago I remember an FCS school going for a FG against Duke with time expiring down a million just to kill the spread for Duke bettors

I may be wrong, but based on the rest of his post, I think he’s saying players don’t think about things like points spreads or over/under. They think about making plays to win the game.

Yes. I posted about this earlier. Vegas never loses. Over was 90% of all bets.
Anybody who doesn’t think a lot of sports in general is rigged, and it’s just honest players and teams playing is fricking stupid. Sports in general is too big and there’s too much money won and lost.
Players bet. Coaches bet. Analysis bet.
It happened in the OU Tenner game too, just like Georgia. Running back kneeled at the 2” line in the end. Announcers go… well Vegas is happy tonight.

There needs to be a fraud investigation into UGA over this.
Theres no reason to take a knee at the 1 besides points shaving.
