Of course it is- and for many others. Spurrier doesnt consider a QB that runs the ball 180 times a real QB- he loves the dropback guys. Most coaches and others believe full well Spurrier didnt vote for Tebow bus passed the buck to save face in the media. I thought this was old hat by now?

Well, Garcia wasn't exactly a pure pocket passer and he's one of the best quarterbacks that Spurrier has coached.

Actually coaches probably watch more of these players than anyone. They just don't vote in the coaches poll as has been pointed out. I'm sure you're trolling but the media isn't any more reliable on these things than some SID. You're kidding yourself if you think the local beat writer for the Birmingham paper is watching previously missed Ole Miss games in his spare time. Both polls have their flaws at the end of the day.

Gonna disagree here. They watch more film than 90% of people in the media. The only people that watch more film than them are the draft experts and NFL scouts.

Not to mention- I'm pretty sure all the SID's had heard of Tim Tebow and knew more about him the Snead.

Spurrier didnt vote for Tebow to get back at Fla and didnt want Tebow to be unanimous. He caught flak for it and passed the buck. its not hard to figure out

exactly- what the hell is every offensive coach that plays Ole Missus watching before they play them? The Ole Missus defense- and lots of it.

Yes...because Spurrier has been known to cave-in and conform with everyone else.

Ole miss defense produced a lot of 3 and outs last year not much opportunity for a lot of tackles. This will be his year that he has big numbers I believe. His numbers weren't bad the first 2 years.

Hard to look at the TCU game as they had a strong case for best 4 in the country but got slighted because of conference affiliation.

Do you just make things up in your head, like the way they sound, and then declare them to be the truth and based in fact?

Because that's what you have been doing in this thread.

Gee whiz...UGA only had 5 players on that 247 top 200, 3 of which have barely seen any time and the 2 that did see some time are no longer on the team.
