Also have conference titles in FB and baseball.

Not bad for a private school with less than 15,000 undergrads.

IDK but they sure as hell got their arse beat by us in the Sugar Bowl... however... they would skull frick us worse than any team on our schedule(basketball)... and that’s saying something considering the arse whoopin’s we took this year.

LMAO!

What they've done is pretty damn impressive especially when they have to compete against much bigger state schools like Texas,OU and OSU with bigger budgets and more resources

That’s probably more NCs than UGA.

2003-2004: Basketball player murdered by teammate. Coach covers it up

2008: Basketball player punches his pregnant girlfriend so hard he breaks her skull. Scott Drew suspends him one game.

2010-2014: Women's basketball player forced to wear sleeves to cover up her tattoos after athletic department puts her girlfriend on a full athletic scholarship not to play anything and covers up her DUI. This after not allowing her to come out for fear of offending the board of trustees

2011: Pays a scumbag to draft up an economic report stating that the City of Waco would go bankrupt if Baylor didn't play Texas A&M in football.

2011-2014: 51 rapes committed by football players

5 NC's

A&M has 11 national titles since 2009 and competes in 20 sports.

And you have twice the revenue and four times the enrollment and everybody's aware of their sordid past and it's not like they didn't get rid of the coaches, athletic director and even the President after the scandal.

Coming back from those issues makes their most recent NC all that more impressive.

I dunno, man. Florida has two NCs in football, two NCs in basketball, and an NC in baseball - all in just over a decade span. Regardless of resources, that's a massive over achievement.

That report makes no claim remotely like what you stated.

quote:

The Perryman Group estimated potential net annual losses to both Texas and the
Waco area if Baylor separated from other major Texas educational institutions
currently in the Big 12
. These losses in home game expenditures, major
conference games, media contracts, and visitor spending are net of impacts Baylor
would continue to generate through activity in a conference apart from the other three
current Big 12 Texas universities. Negative effects would be particularly notable if the
balance shifted in the Texas representation relative to other states, as has been
suggested in one proposed realignment involving the PAC-10.

quote:

If Baylor is separated from the three other schools currently in the Big 12
, the Waco area
and the state as a whole stand to lose significant economic activity. As noted, The
Perryman Group estimates that losses to Texas would include almost $371.8 million in
output annually and 5,764 jobs. For Waco, some $106.4 million in output each year and
1,677 jobs could be lost.

To neutral eyes (mine), it is obvious they were discussing the impact of Baylor getting left behind if there were a mass exodus as could have happened when everyone but Baylor was a candidate for the Pac 10 expansion.

Ironic considering they happily dumped SMU, TCU, Rice and Houston but whatever.

I know y'all are mad at Baylor for fighting you on the SEC move but you just look jelly tonight.

Let it go.
