But if you look at those numbers, the teams that run the ball more faired worse against Bama's defense than the teams that passed more

actually they pass more...at least LSU, OM, and MSU do.

You are correct that the teams pass more, hence the larger 1st number (i.e 66/34). I meant that the ones who ran more ( i.e. 55/45, 57/43 both run MORE than 66/34)....

lol so you are saying that running play action without being able to rush the ball effectively is somehow effective, even if it is unsuccessful?

Damn dude, you are dumb aren't you. What do you have to do to "load the box"? If the box isn't "loaded up" that LEAVES more room for the running game to succeed. If you "load up the box" that leaves a WR one-on-one, which opens up the deep ball.

Right, but if your WRs cant beat 1 on 1 coverage, then we can afford to stack the box without giving up the big play action pass play...YOU are saying that even if your WRs cant beat 1 on 1 coverage, then play action will still be effective, which is stupid.

AU is 7th in the SEC is plays per game. A&M is 2nd.

I don't know how to respond to that other than to say that auburn runs a HUNH and so does A&M.

Who? Nick Marshall? Yeah, he has improved but I don't think many would bet on him to ruin Bama's day solely with his arm. Auburn is going to have to prove they can consistently run the ball before they have any chance of a big passing day. It's all about the play action with that offense.

We run 71 plays a game...less than UGA, USCe, and MSU.

Well, one reason for that, which is a tribute to auburn, is that y'all have had several quick scoring drives. That obviously limits the number of plays that are run. The point remains though that the only real similarity I see between auburn and A&M is the fast pace that the offenses run at.

Lsu has a qb that will be a 3000 yard passer , 2 1000 yard receivers and a 1000 yard back. What exactly does auburn have?

I never said we couldn't throw the deep ball. In fact I stated that, as of a few weeks ago, Sammy Coates led the nation in YPC. My exact statement was..... "if you "load up the box" that leaves a WR one-on-one, which opens up the deep ball.", which is 100% correct. If you account for the deep ball, meaning you aren't creeping up the safeties, the helps the running game. It's really not that difficult to understand.

No I'm not. The one decent defense you played all year was lsu and you couldn't move the ball against is until we put in 3rd team defenders. Auburn had 110 yards of offense at the half. It's laughable that you think I'm riding Bama's dick when there is no need to. Lsu stomped auburn. Lsu is 6-1 in the last 7. Pardon me for seeing the obvious. Auburn's offensive success is predicated on the run. I think you would agree with that. Well bama is one of the best runs topping defenses in all of cfb. Also, Auburn has an average run defense while Bama is one of the best rushing teams in cfb. Yes I know Auburn is a good rushing team, but they have to be. if auburn can't run the ball, there isn't chance auburn wins. Unless turnovers by bama

Just like LSU is nothing like Alabama, huh? I love how you can have it one way but not the other.

Lsu isn't like bama( this year)We rarely use our rbs out of the backfield. Screen passes and throwing to the rbsos a staple of Bama's offense. Lsu rarely throws to the slot wr or TE. This is another thing Bama does well. When rushing lsu usually likes to run behind our fbs, while bama has started to run behind their fbs more of late,it's not something they do as often. This year offensively, bama and lsu don't attack the defense in the same way. We both like physical running games but lsu attacks the outsides of the defense while bama attacks the insides.

I hope this is a joke. NM has 9 tds and 5 ints FOR THE SEASON and is 9th in qb rating. NM not being able to throw the ball is why your very average (6th)in 3rd down conversions.
