They worship birds and call themselves fambly. They hire all kinds of freaky coaches. They’re isolated on a weird stretch of dirty land with a barn. Their hero is a cross dresser. They’re a dirty program. Satanic?

The question of whether or not Auburn is a cult is not that important. I think a more pertinent question is "what kind of rituals do they practice?"

The weird thing to me is: they have a majestic mascot that literally flies in front of the fans in the stadium as we stare in awe. They say “war eagle” to each other. But instead of embracing this, or their other unique moniker of Plainsmen, the insist on being called Tigers.

They’re stupid.

a cult "a group united by devotion or allegiance to a person or idea " Sounds a lot like Alabama to me

I don't know about Auburn, or any other football program, but goddamn, that description certainly fits another group that will be deemed as one of the biggest, and most shameful failures in history.

Fully functional (allegedly) adult UGA fans paint their heads and bark at people.

No, but the fricking Creed monsters do us no favors. Feel like most of those people are sidewalk fans who spew it.

No one I know who went to or graduated from Auburn talks about the Creed. In fact, most of us are pagans.

My wife's family is from the area. 2/3 of them are Alabama fans. The ones with money like Aubrun.

They once had an old man they bowed to like he was a saint. They called him Mouse L. Apparently he was the end of the line, there never was a Mouse M.
