For years this fan base has stuck their nose up at everyone. They have the best program. We all suck. Their history is better than everyone else’s. Their team is better. Their conference is better. Now, Riley leaves them and they’re triggered extremely hard by anything he does. Is there another fan base who deserved a reality check more than OU?

Oh and welcome to the big league come 2025.

I give them credit for wanting to join the toughest conference. But I do laugh at their former coach.

It sure seems like you’re triggered by your own feelings, and you started a thread about it. What tears, btw?

Oklahoma played and won a tougher league from 2000 to 2009 than the SEC was in that time frame.

Oklahoma will be just fine.

I know its difficult for you LSU fans to only have twenty years or so of relevance in CFB but OU is always just fine.

Their History hasn't changed and they in fact have the wins, nattys, All Americans, Heisman winners, and conference championships to be one of the best programs in history. I doubt you can find any National media that will say otherwise. Dig and knock yourself out.

If it is true the SEC is better because of recruiting or coaching staff than OU will not be at any type of longterm disadvantage over any other team in the SEC.

You are welcome to your opinion but stop pretneding you know the future.

LSU has won 3 national titles since OU’s last one. 2 of which were the result of LSU spanking sooner arse. But thank you for confirming my opinion of sooner fans. Can’t wait to have another ole miss in the conference.

History is longer than the time frame you are suggesting. The fact you want to limit the history is in fact admitting you know LSU's history isn't as storied.

MOJO ERASER is the only OU fan I've seen online or out in the world.

lol and yet there are more OU fans online than one in this thread. This is the problem with smack talk. It is meant to be funny but obviously, you have seen more than one OU fan online..

I'm not saying OU fans don't exist just that MOJO is the only one I've seen on here with any regularity.

I really hope we don't have to wait three years to listen to this stuff. Three years of these type of threads is going to wear me slick.

If OU can get in the league in '23 there will be about a year of "I told you so" threads by one side or the other and this crap will finally go away.

well I have been a member since July and have over 200 posts. That makes mee an active member that doesn't spend all day on the board. So now you can say two/

And I am curious why you have never watched an OU game on tv?

I don't really follow OU/Big 12 football so it's difficult to say.

Usually watch other SEC games, unless it's a random bowl game. Watched Oklahoma in the CFP.

Eh . . . we border them and know them too well. I have always felt bad for OU fans.

OU football and the State of Oklahoma is akin to a Buffalo Wild Wings waiter driving a $90,000 Range Rover.

You may be impressed for a short period, but then you clue in that they are driving home to a dumpy apartment, credit card bills, and a long life of frustration. That 10 minutes of bling is all they got.

So....just for clarification are we talking the same time period the SEC had 5 claimed championships?
