Some interesting side conversations in this thread. The original question is really uninteresting to me - I've said twice that I don't believe this is a dynasty (yet) and that's my honest opinion, but until everyone has a similar definition of "dynasty" it's just an argument in semantics for the most part.
However, at 7 straight championships, the SEC is most certainly a dynasty.

Still a dynasty... its just the early stages of it, so its hard for the visually impaired, mentally impaired or the majorly butthurt to see.

If my team could only muster three NC in 50 plus years I would hang on to my sec championships as well. I realize this is you trying to keep in context of Bama's recent dynasty, but to be honest dynasties are established from a national perspective not a conference perspective and no one outside of the sec cares about the sec CG outside of how it effects the national title game. NC determine dynasties but again LSU can't seem to get it done so I guess your fall back has to be sec championships.

I'm just Saiyan, as much shite as y'all have given the BCS since picking Alabama over Oklahoma St, LSU gets nothing in 03 without it.
