And they obliterated them and had 17 players taken in the 1st round. You can talk shite about their schedule, but when 17 players from the 2011 bama team are taken in the first round, the we can open up discussion

They beat VT 26-24, and FSU was kinda crummy that year, we beat them by like 30.

Since when is 28-24 an obliterated score?
Bama's closest victory was 16 points in those wins against those teams with better records.

Drafts and NFL careers have nothing to do with how teams performed in college. However, in just 2 yrs, Bama has had 8 first rounders taken that was on the 2011 squad. Pretty much on pace with Miami's squad.

They also lost to NC by a score of 41-9. They gave up 304 points on the season. More than 25 ppg.

That's when Richt left to to take the Georgia job and their offense started to suck arse.

2010 UNC had the most players drafted in 2011, I guess that means they were better than Auburn that season?

And how many of those were first rounders?

Doesn't reflect how well they played as a team though. Talent doesn't always equal the greatest team. Re: Lsu/UAB, Bama/ULM, Mich/App St, etc etc.

Sure I can. There are plenty of variables and comparisons against each teams' competition to come to a conclusion.

That's a direct reflection on how good the players on that team where

Using his logic, Christian Ponder was better in college than Tebow because he was drafted higher.

I just want to know how many where first rounders over 3rd day picks. That's all
Eta: I have to head out but I'll say again, we can have this discussion in 2 years
