Slightly off the topic; who's likely the next team to further the SEC? LSU and Florida together pushed the conference to the top in the 2000's; 4 titles between them, and when 1 was down the other stepped up.
Alabama recently joined that rotation. Arkansas pushed to, but flamed out. Will Georgia or South Carolina join Alabama, or Arkansas?

Dynasty is an unofficial subjective term and you can make up whatever the hell definition of it you want.

The vast, vast majority of fans in the country and the SEC and the media are of the opinion it's a dynasty, there really isn't any debate what the general consensus opinion is.

But LSU fans are more than welcome to be in a fringe minority and say it isn't, they can make up whatever definition they want.

And if it makes them look ridiculously jealous and petty, so be it

well, if Alabama didn't get their butts kicked at home by SEC teams every year, maybe you'd get more respect from your SEC peers...

3/4 is only 2/4 in the SEC...no better than Tennessee in the 90s

Spurrier still has more SEC rings than Saban

This has happened twice. Once to LSU in overtime by 3 points, once to A&M by 5 points.

Tennessee won one national championship in the 1990s.

Bama's won as many in 4 years as LSU has in their entire history.

Here we go again with the absolutes.

How many home games did Alabama lose in 2008 or 2009?

"butts kicked" = losing by 1, 3, and 5.

Yet, you're going to set us straight on the definition of "dynasty"?

Bama has been raping its SEC schedule for 5 years now.

Lets just stay on topic and not talk about schedules.

Remember when LSU was only able to score 9 points in 8qt and a overtime against bama, with the greatest team LSU ever had. If that dont get you respect, trust me, nothing will.

By how many points do you consider getting your butts kicked?

LSU got their butts kicked at home, in Tiger Stadium, to Arkansas in your 2007 national championship run.

I had almost forgot about that.

LSU's greatest team EVER got their asses collectively kicked in the biggest game they've ever been a part of.

And since then Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Alabama, and Alabama have won the national title. Six years is a long time ago when teams in your conference are owning all the national titles.

okay, now we are on to something. What teams again do you consider to have been a dynasty and how do they rack up to Bama during the last 5 years?

Like I said previously in the beginning, you are free to use your terms as you see fit, but at least back it up with some criteria and supportive evidence

FSU '87-2000
2 National Championships (out of 5)
14 Top 4 finishes
8 ACC Championships
1 undefeated season
2 Heisman winners

Miami '83-'94 (not '92)
4 National Championships (out of 7)
3 Big East Championships (Indy till '91)
At least 1 Heisman winner (maybe more??)
3 Undefeated Seasons

Nebraska '92-'01
3 National Championships (out of 5)
6 Conference Championships (4 Big 8, 2 Big XII)
2 Heisman Winners (I think...Eric Crouch and Tommy Frazier??)
3 Undefeated Seasons

you could probably add in more stuff, major bowl wins, winning percentage, yada yada

Alabama's stats for '09-Present:
3 National Championships (out of 3)
2 Conference Championships
1 Heisman Winner
1 Undefeated Season

For shits and giggles...Miami and USC...

Miami '00-'03
1 National Championship (out of 2)
4 Big East Championships
1 Undefeated Season

USC '02-'08
1 National Championship (1 Vacated, out of 2 NC Appearances)
5 PAC 10 Championships (3 vacated)
1 Undefeated Season
2 Heisman Winners

I have never seen anyone try so hard to disprove something. This(Alabama dynasty) has got to ruin at least 80% of your days on earth. IS I right?
