I believe every team should earn their spot based on merit.

As much as I detest Sankey, it is the NCAA that has allowed the whoring out of a truly great sport.

It is messed up but here is what I think they do this time. If an 11-1 Big 12 or ACC team loses their championship game I think they will let them in over a 3 loss SEC team with a much harder schedule.

If ND loses to Miami after losing to BYU and only has an SMU win on their resume and its down to them or a 3 loss SEC team what will they pull?

If UCLA or Iowa ends up 10-2 with their weaker Big 10 schedules than most what do they do?

What happens if the best teams are all 10-2? What if an undefeated or a 1 loss season becomes a rarity?

I think a 2 loss ND gets in. After all the pissing and moaning last season about ND being left out I doubt the Committee will do it two years in a row.
