Bet the Dubliners are loving this lol

Dusty D from ESPN said on an interview the other day that in Dublin, the crowd are allowed to bring their beers to their seats during a US college games, but not during any other sporting events.

Shining example of American football to the Irish, who watch rugby where the ball is always moving and you don't see this many turnovers.

I wonder if any Irish people in the crowd have any idea what is going on.

They probably don't care. It's an opportunity to drink at your seat during a sporting event and be rowdy.

I was just wondering why don't they put better matchups over there. These teams both look sloppy and ugly so far. Poor representation of American football.

No one wants to see three and outs over and over and dropped passes left and right. They are sitting there smugly saying see our football (soccer) is the real football. Europeans are incredibly smug and arrogant acting about their precious little sport called soccer.

Same happened to me on the ESPN app for the first 5 min or so of the game. Already a failure from the opening kickoff. It is consistently the most glitchy app of any major company. I don’t know how they expect people to pay $30 a month with how poorly they have supported the app in the past.

The game is a huge distraction. It’s on the opposite side of the planet, grass is different so footing is poor, players are jet lagged, etc. All in all, it’s a pretty shitty experience for the players from a football perspective

because one team has to give up a home game.. GA vs FL should go over there when the Jax renovation starts

Yeah I get that but still geez. At least send a team over with a legit top 10 offense or something if they are going to do this sort of thing.

Most teams are a little rusty first game, but yeah this is sloppy.

The weather sucks too, but it's the British Isles so you should pretty much bet on rain.

Both of these teams have salty defenses, so there won't be a high scoring affair here.

Once the rain stops we will see some scoring
