Isn’t it ironic how college sports mimics political “leadership...”

If the way it goes down is OU and Texas join the SEC West and Auburn and Alabama are moved to the SEC East, then it will be a fantastic boon for LSU. Why?
Because instantly LSU will be the top dog in the SEC West. Which is good because all the best of the best recruits will want to play for the top-dog and there is no one that is better at recruiting in the SEC West than Ed Orgeron. As Ed O will inevitably get the bulk of them.
Meanwhile, LSU and Alabama will still play every season, but on a neutral field for the SEC title.
Then when the new expanded College Football Playoffs begin in the near future, both LSU and Alabama will be in it every year.
As for as Texas being morally equivalent to Communist China goes, that's an over reaction. As Texas will not be able to suck all the wind out of the SEC as it did in the old Southwest Conference and as did in the Big 12 Conference because Texas will only be one university of sixteen universities.
Hence, with respect to their horns down nonsense, they can stick that pure utter nonsense up their backside sideways because that bullshite won't fly in the SEC.

At least China doesn’t annoy us on sports forums every day.

So basically LSU, MSU and Ole Miss joined the SWC.

The socialist idea of everyone being equal in terms of payouts hopefully will be over. Conference payouts should be dependent upon how much revenue you bring in.
If schools like Vanderbilt don’t like it, they can leave and go try to find a bread line somewhere. No free handouts.
