The kid told his coach he was transferring to Foley because the Alabama recruiter told him if he went to Foley he would be helped academically. The coach got pissed because evidently this kid is a stud - so he blew the whistle.
You can look at this two ways: The coach is lying and the player never said that and/or there is no proof.
Or
You assume thats how it went down because you can't figure out any other reason he is transferring to Foley.
Either way - I would think someone would be investigating the Coach's claims.
The SEC is out of control - boosters are in attack mode everywhere - trying to rat each other out. Good luck.

Investigate what exactly? Where's the violation?

your paraphrasing powers are even better than the ADs

What is there to investigate? At Foley High he would have the opportunity to make up 8 credits. At the Florida school, they most they offer is 6. An Alabama assistant suggested that he transfer to Foley across the state line so that he could at least have a shot at being eligible. None of this violates NCAA rules even if everything this pissed off coach says is true.
The kid is a low end 3 star and has been committed to Alabama long before any of this happened. It's not like he is a top 5 national player committed to a rival and we arranged for his family to move from Georgia to Tuscaloosa.

The AD is the problem in this situation. He was trying to steer the kid and got mad when the Alabama coaches called him on it period! Then throw in the fact that the POS AD posted from school computers about student athletes ...

What rule is exactly being broken here? Giving advice to a HS player isn't allowed? I'm not being sarcastic, I legitimately do not know.
A Bama coach apparently told a recruit to go to a school that offers tutors to its HS athletes where the other school had "coaches" with "degrees" to "teach" (yes the quotations are necessary, our public schools are shite)
If your coach "teaches" history, he likely cannot make an argument....I'd rather we had a strong public school system than this necessity of having some with learning impairments go to tard school or transfer to a good school, but Bama is what Bama makes a priority. The state. Not UA. Gumps gonna gump.
