Depends on if Chizik was involved.
Not really. If it was an assistant, Chizik can be held responsible for his assistants. And many coaches have as a clause in their contract that they can be terminated for cause if the school is put on probation on their watch.

Byron De'Vinner seems to be purposely loading up his tweet deck with Alabama connections over the last few days. Maybe trying too hard to counteract some upcoming perception that will be created, such as a relationship with Auburn?
