Would you describe Saban's Crimson Tide performances in 2008, 2010, and 2012 as getting up? Looks like Miles gets LSU up for the game regardless of location unless it's a rematch in New Orleans.

Why 1982? Is that a tiger thing?

Dude has a point. I think Miles and Saban are two sides of the same coin. Both teams do everything the other can't

2010, LSU beat Alabama with jordan jefferson as the primary QB
and 2008, taken to overtime with jarrett lee throwing 4 INT's

2012, losing with a minute left before the yeldon screen

bama's overall record in baton rouge is pretty dang impressive... they never seemed to lose there until Saban got to LSU.
which was a combination of two things... LSU being bad in the 90s and Alabama still being good
what is more interesting is now that both teams are still good the road team winning still seems to be a trend

I look forward to making these pussies cry once again.

Bama didnt start playing the majority of their home games in Ttown til 1988. LSU's dominance in Ttown has nothing to do with the Bears death. Just happens to coincide with them moving their home games out of that shithole known as the iron bowl. We own Ttown.

Since 1982, LSU is 11-4 in Birmingham/Tuscaloosa while Alabama is 11-4-1 in BR.

Looking forward to the game in Tuscaloosa this year.
In terms of home field advantage, this has been a very lopsided series.

Somebody doesn't know much about LSU football. UA has only lost in Tiger Stadium 5 times in the last 55 years.

I did say that in a sloppy way because I assumed the Auburn fan in question was only talking about the series per the OP. If you want to stretch the series back to the time before the OP's timeline then yes, obviously then you're in Bear Bryant time and Bear dominated LSU for years and years (and yes, even more so in Louisiana than he did in Alabama).
Of those five LSU wins in Baton Rouge over the last 55 years you of course do know that LSU has won four of the last seven of those games since 2000.

That's understandable. Most AU fans think college football began in 1983. They don't even realize why their ticket exchange number is 1-800-AUB-1957. (Yes, that's actually their phone number)

Yeah before Saban got there, Bama won like 15 straight in Death Valley. I wanna say they went from 1968-1998 without losing there. And, during Alabama's probation (2002-2006), Bama's only win over LSU was in Death Valley.
