For the year 2024, Football Revenue and Profits for the SEC had some surprising numbers at least to me. Do some of these surprise you as well ?
Revenue
1 Texas 205 Million
2 Tenn 149 Million
3 Alabama 140 Million
4 Georgia 133 Million
5 Oklahoma 132 Million
6 Auburn 121 Million
7 A & M 119 Million
Profit from Football
1 Texas 139 Million
2 Tenn 73 Million
3 Oklahoma 71 Million
4 Auburn 60 Million
5 Florida 55 Million
I skipped down to
8 A &M 28 Million
Texas total Athletic revenue was 319 Million
What surprised me was the total dollar figures are crazy and some schools did better than I would have thought like Oklahoma and some worst like A & M

Understand what "revenue" is in order to comprehend why Aggies don't have it.

Damn that's a lot of money for no SEC or National Championships. But you got the best 7th round quarterback money can buy.

Cool. That is 102.5 million for each Georgia Loss! I don't know how much per thrown water bottle that is though. See you in Athens

A Purdue fan of all people shouldn't even be on a sports forum but your comments are just like your team, losers.

Interesting that Bama was top 3 in revenue, but not in the top 5 in profit.
