I can't control how others act or think. I am only referring to myself. I love this rivalry and always have.

No one believes any of the nonsense you make up, you realize that right?
You realize the largest drag contest is hosted by aggy on campus.
Between the yearly drag contest and all-male cheer squad aggy is pretty much an lgbtq+ themed school.
You know that right?

So people from Austin , specifically from your school, paid to rent a building in college station so that they can have a drag show there
Shocking

Nope.
There is no proof anyone from Austin is involved in running A&M's Draggieland contest.
According to Google, the auditions were held in Bryan College Station.

You forget things quickly it was in the article that you posted talking about it after you did your Internet research, now you’re just clowning on yourself

UT's fight song mentions A&M...no mention of OU...

Just accept the fact aggy is a major supporter of all things queer.
I am not saying it is a bad thing.
You just need to accept it and stop living in denial.

That was a very shiny hook, you have disappointed me by taking a nibble at it
From Texas’s Athletics website
From Texas’s Athletics website
quote:
Hunnicut’s original motivation for the song was a counterpoint from taunts, songs and yells from the rival Texas Aggies, which he claimed ridiculed "The Eyes of Texas." "Long before I entered The University of Texas in 1909 and until about the year 1928 the Aggies had one of the most effective and awe inspiring songs used by any student body anywhere any time. ‘Farmers Fight’ at that time was their sacred College song," Hunnicut wrote in a 1952 letter. "It occurred to me that an effective way to strike back at the Aggies was to write a ‘Texas Fight’ song in answer to their(s)."

They are very different rivalries. Equal in my mind but different. The Texas-Texas A&M rivalry is like a sibling rivalry. The Texas-OU game has always been about state pride and pure hatred for each other.
Especially since they have so often beat us with a roster full of Texas players. The neutral site game with a 50/50 fan split makes it unique.
It's just different. I love them both.
I'll say this. Losing to OU isn't as painful because I don't have to hear about it 365 days a year like I will if we lose Saturday. I have friends/family who have some major payback due me after that 2011 game

True, but this entire thread goes to show you why in "Boomer Sooner" the OU lyrical composers went that extra mile to MAKE SURE that everybody knew that the song was about OU... rather than any other school.

There isn't a fight song on this planet I hate more. Mostly because of the few hundred fricking times I had to hear it when Mack was doing his typical great job and getting tea bagged by Stoops.

My favorite part of the game is when the gay t-sip band plays “I’ve been working on the railroad”
But they’re a racist university now so they can’t play it anymore.

My dad has a Nike t-shirt from his time in school and it has the Nike swoosh and says, "Aggies JUST DO IT with sheep."
I guess aggy was caught back in the day banging a sheep.
So gross!
