Definitely in your top 5 posts and possibly even your best. The amount of money LSU is paying a guy who loses every big postseason game he coaches in is hilarious.
He’ll likely eventually win a playoff game or 2 now that it’s watered down, but I’d be surprised if he ever won an SEC championship, a semifinal, or a national championship. Guy just doesn’t have what it takes.

If Kelly doesn’t make the playoffs this year I don’t think he will. If he doesn’t make it this year, there will be mass outrage. The fanbase will be calling for his head. Whether he survives to coach another year likely won’t matter. He will be a 65 year old lame duck. He has his work cut out. He likely can’t lose but two of these. I don’t see it.

Just because a coach is hired based on of his past accomplishments doesnt make him any better at his current job.
