You're way off base with your comments here. You don't become a head coach at an elite football program without being football smart and intelligent off the field. It takes a lot of connections and knowledge to be in a position that Miles is in. If you listen to him talk, he knows what he's doing. He doesn't always make the right moves on the field, but IMO he gets too caught up in the emotions of the game without being able to iterate quality choices when it comes to decisions. Just because he misses on some on the field situations doesn't mean he's retarded. In fact, I would be willing to put a decent sum of money on Les being more intelligent than yourself, keyboard coach.

No I wouldn't want Les Miles as the coach at Florida. He doesn't have a track record of smart hires, and I always love a HC who surrounds himself with solid assistants. I also like a Head Coach with a little different attitude. I like arrogance in a HC. Miles seems a little to reserved for me.
