FAIL! Gerhart will win the Heisman because he's a better back. Look at the number of TD's he scored and how consistent he was the last half of the season. He just kept getting stronger and stronger. Ingram will be back next year to prove his metal.

i'm not trying to diminish Ingram because I think he's badass and will be a great pro. But if you go by the subjectively perceived talent in each conference then you're going to limit the contenders for the award even more than they already are. I just hope McCoy doesn't get it as a sort of "lifetime achievement" deal.

Any Heismen trophy that was won before they allowed black kids to play does not count. Y'all know good and well that there were some black kids that would run all over those white peoples arse that didn't get to compete and therefore the trophy is void.

For the most part I kind of agree, however Billy Cannon was a freak in college and the pros. He won the NCAA shotput championship and the 100M dash championship. That is insane. He would be LSU's starting running back today if he were here. Actually, maybe our starting middle linebacker. He was a freak.
