The woman doing the high school game with ex-Colorado coach, Hawkins was better than he was.

He sucked the dicks of both coaches and the refs for the whole game. It was easy to see how he would not be the best coach as he sees no need for accountability in any situation.

The dude is a big pussy. The lady announcer hinted at it on the air when he made the excuse of not wanting to change the outcome of a game with an interference call towards the end of the game.

She laughed and said, "If it's a penalty, it's a penalty whether it's in the fourth quarter or the first quarter."

For the record I had no rooting interest in the game. I always thought from watching him handle his quarterback son at CU, he was a wimp, after hearing his commentary today I know I was right.

This doesn't happen to LSU games. Is this common for Arky games?

I'm just afraid that it might happen, I don't wish it on any team. I'm not a monster.

There's not much worse than listening to some chick trying to be a dude. They had a female anouncer for Bama Duke last year. I didn't even listen to a minute of her.

A woman (maybe Pam Ward?) called the Alabama-Duke game on abc last year, but her voice was deep enough for me to pretend she was just a really dumb man.

I wish they would just get women that sound like women, not the most dudely ladies they can find. I don't understand why they think it's a good idea to get a woman with a really deep voice, like that's some kind of consolation.

"Sorry we have to let a woman call the game, but hey at least she sounds like a man."

Also it always seems to be cloudy and depressing in big 10 games for some reason

Well look where the big 10 games are. Cloudy and depressing places.

This is why the trend of early commitments is going to help the northern teams.

If kids take an official for a game at Ann Arbor or Columbus in October they freeze and think twice about committing. If they are on an unofficial in June or July they commit.

Early commitments must be a conspiracy by the Big 10 to get more Southern recruits. We need to go to some Big XII boards and start some threads about this.

We can also start a Facebook page to boycott early commits.

This might be a bigger deal than The Texas Network or the Old Navy Bama ads.

Write your congressman.

I suppose choosing the "lesser of two evils," you would pick roundboy Verne Lundquist who never refused anything at a bar or buffet to Pam Ward, whose voice & delivery don't seem suitable for play-by-play.

Not sure how I would react, I honestly can't remember a UT game ever having a woman announcer
