yeah, the joke down here that year was, What's the difference between Dale Earnhardt and Alabama. Earnhardt is still number 3.

I heard that a lot that year.

Ole Miss at least won 9 games and went to the Cotton Bowl. That is not in the same ballpark of failure as Bama 2000.

My favorite by far GAg 2008.
Year of the dawg, we are done with Florida domination, yada, yada, yada. woof woof
Went to the cocktail party that year, and it took me a month to recover my voice. Completely awesome game. Favorite parts: Our players clapping for their meaningless td in the 4th, when there were no mutt fans left, and Rainey almost taking a knee on that punt return.

Quburn picked to go to the SEC CG. That is the most comical thing I have heard in the preseason.

Auburn 2006 was #3 when DMAC happened, it was much later in the season that you guys beat them. We won 27-10 you guys 37-15, but that was the only two losses they had that year. They started the season #6 and ended it #10, I wouldn't count that as falling on their face.

I remember the morning of our game with them...I was so worried that we were going to be exposed as a crap team. I was at the season opener that year and USC just killed us in the second half (DMAC was still hurt and Felix had as many fumbles in that game as in the rest of his career combined)...then we went on a tear, but at that time in the season I just felt we were probably overrated. Us kicking the crap out of the East Georgia A&M Tigers sure made me feel better

I hated that we moved up to #4 last year. Only reason it happened was due to all the "big dogs" not being able to keep their shite together. We should have started the season at like 15 or 16 in the nation.

Losing to us when they were ranked very high again is indeed falling on your face, I don't care where they ended up ranked. The 2006 season was arguably just as bad if not worse than last year when we went 8-5. Beating Auburn, Tech, and VaTech to end the year basically saved what little image was left to save of that season

What about 08 LSU.. Right off a NC.. Complete Fail

We lost both starting QB's and all our leaders on Defense(including DC)... it's not really a bust, because we never should have been ranked that high
