I saw a thing on Facebook the other day that it was the 29th anniversary of the 1988 earthquake game with a video attached.
It got me wondering, was that the last time LSU and Auburn played where Auburn wore white jerseys and LSU wore purple? I guess LSU started wearing white at home again at some point in the 90s

No, Auburn wore white at Tiger Stadium in 1993. LSU went back to wearing white at home in 1995.
Auburn and LSU did not play each other annually before division play began in 1992. LSU played at Auburn in 1989, and then the two teams did not play in 1990 or '91.

1993. Auburn administered a solid beat down, 34-10.
The 1995 Auburn game in Baton Rouge was the first time LSU was able to wear white at home since the 1982 season.
