The 31-7 victory over Texas in the Alamo Bowl. Complete domination by Hog defense and held Texass to:

59 Total Yards - 2 Rushing yards and 57 passing

Brandon Allen led the Hogs. One of the toughest, if not the toughest, QBs I have ever seen. Half my family are loud shorthorn fans and they never brought the game up. My cousin was at the game with her family and said they all left midway through the 3rd Q. Hogs made them quit from top to bottom that day.

It was borderline erotic.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Except today.

I think my favorite Arkansas game is the 2008 Cotton Bowl.

The Destruction of the opponent... not the bowl. Good grief.

I think it's weird that people focus so much on this game. The next week when a not good field goal got called good and sent Miss St. to the title game was a much bigger deal. We would have had a rematch in Atlanta if not for that.

2007 and Casey Dick, Darren McFadden and Felix Jones invade BDS against the lowly Tide, coached by first-year man Nick Saban. McFadden eventually gets a bad headache and decides to sit out the 4th quarter and John Parker Wilson takes Bama down the field with precious time left on the clock and shocks the #16 ranked razorbacks with a great throw in the endzone with 8 seconds to go in the ballgame for the gigantic win for the upstarts. Early signs that things were about to change big time in the SEC West.

After the game, coach Saban vowed to never allow these porkers another win in this series on his watch. 14 years later, so far, so good.

I was at that one. First and most likely last trip to Starkville. Couldn't buy cold beer. Ice company was owned by the mayor or something like that.

We left our kicker at home for partying.
