I did not enjoy that cotton bowl nearly as much as the Independence bowl a few years prior. But therein lies the difference in our program and yours. That Cotton Bowl team was a very bad Arkansas team that "settled" for Cotton. That Missouri team was one of your best with Chase Daniel and his FUPA. That Arkansas team had no head coach. That Arkansas team didn't care about that game, and neither did any of our fans. We were just ready to get that era behind us so we could move on. I think you will agree that both teams have gone on opposite paths since that game. Arkansas on a path to national relevance. Missouri to...well, where the hell is your program now? Anyone seen it?
The reason we don't want Missouri in the league is because you don't fit and your teams are lousy.
Living here in KC, it's actually good for me because these mouth breathing big 12 losers will finally have to talk SEC for a change. But I hear a lot of Missouri folks calling in and whining about Mike Anderson and can't wait until he has to come back to your arena to play. Do you think he cares? Not at all. Get over the bitterness. He left a stepping-stone program for a destination program. A program he was at a very long time and won a lot of games for. It's not personal. You people just won't accept that you're nothing more than a stepping stone program. In the Big 12 it was Kansas who whipped you like a rented mule. In the SEC you'll always be behind Kentucky...and Florida....and Arkansas...etc. Know your place.

Yes, Carl is the reason I always supported Mizzou coming into the SEC. Rusty Wallace was my old favorite drive as well so I've always liked the Show Me State. I like that I can say my driver is from an SEC state now.
