Don't blame this on his wife. I doubt that when she married him years ago she knew that this would happen. Hell, why don't we blame his kids too for loving their father.

Just as someone mentioned earlier, I won't judge an entire fan base on a handful of obnoxious posters on an Internet forum. Are we not all guilty of that sometimes?
Many members of this and every other fan base out there have been attending these games since before there were color televisions- much less the Internet.
The guy in question may deserve what he is getting, but I don't believe the majority of Hog fans do.
The AD made a courageous decision that- let's face it, folks- not everyone in the same situation would have made. Kudos to him for doing the right thing for the integrity of the university.

Agreed..but when I think of passionate hog fans, I think of the people who post on forums...
I've read Hog boards...they aren't respectful of LSU or coach Miles
So for those individuals, I don't feel bad at all...

She's a sweetheart and didn't deserve this. I was lucky enough to spend time with Becky and Bobby a couple of years ago. Liked them both. Bobby was nothing like the jerk portrayed in the media - at least not in that setting. I liked him. He was funny and engaging. I will even use the term humble. Some of the things he said and the way he carried himself in that setting made me think he had gotten a raw deal from the media in the past.
His true colors have come out. Becky did not deserve this. Jeff Long didn't deserve it either. And most of us Hog fans who have been so thrilled to be part of the party for the last 2 years don't deserve it either.
The best thing we got out of his 4 seasons is that we know it's possible to elevate our program to national prominence. We know we have leadership that's prepared to do whatever it takes to compete at the highest level. We are not a rebuilding situation at this time. I think all of those things will play in our favor as Jeff looks to find our next coach.
Jeff Long made me very proud of those two diplomas on my wall tonight. He was fed a shite sandwich and he choked that thing down with as much dignity as he possibly could.

The fact that Bobby is a POS does not amaze me at all. The fact that quite a few of you here are equally POS is what I find amazing. And yes, if you think his wife isn't most likely devistated and you think she will be ok or that it is her fault, I consider you a POS.

Well, ultimately she'll be OK because she'll probably divorce him and take millions. But for now I can imagine she's devastated.
