But to be fair, they got two first round draft picks and Kenny Clark for him. So they could be better off in the long run.

Are you serious? Lol

The Cowboys traded away one of the most desirable and unique skill sets that are damn hard to find in a 26 year old Phenom in his prime for a 30 year old average Dlineman and two picks that will be very late 1st round.

The worst part about it, he was asked point blank:

"If selling the team, guaranteed the Cowboys would win a Super Bowl, would you sell them?"

He said no. He's clearly not in it to win it.
If I lived in Dallas County, I would run for County Judge on a platform of having Jerry Jones declared incompetent, with a successful NFL GM to be appointed as his guardian.

(for you non-Texans, the judge part of the title "County Judge" is mostly anachronistic, as the judge merely chairs the commissioners meetings, but he does still have some probate jurisdiction in theory)

Dallas missed the playoffs with Parsons on the team. They couldn’t stop the run, or the pass. Defensive rankings were near the bottom in 2024. They need more pieces.

They added a pro bowl caliber DT. And 2 extra first round picks is enough opportunity to find a good pass rusher and another piece.

If you owned a company for 36 years and were told that it was guaranteed to make more money if you sold it, would you sell it and just go find something else to do that you didn’t want to do?

Owners, coaches, and players don’t think like fricking fans - because they’re not. They care about their own self interests just like people in everyday jobs.

If you work for a business and left tomorrow, you may not necessarily wish ill on the company. But a year from now, would you want the company setting record profits with some hotshot in your old position and everyone saying, “Man, I am glad Aggie in TN’s arse isn’t here anymore. He sucked”?

Imagine Jerry controlling NIL. Dude is a savant at making money. Why Arky doesn't get him more involved is beyond me.

Do you live here? Because I've never met a Cowboys fan in my life that likes Jerry. Not one.
