Even if it was a "clean" hit technically, how does an official watch that in real time and decide not to throw a flag. When in doubt, they usually protect the QB.

Becuase at that point Murray was no longer a QB but a defender, the play was live and he was moving to the play probably to try and make a tackle....therefore he was eligible to be blocked (hit).

Why is it so hard for you people to understand that?

You could sugarcoat a terd. I believe you have a right to hit the quarterback if he just releases the ball. And if you look at the play, the Ga. player hit him with his arm first, not the helmet, in which after McCryon started to react to the hit, the helmet was involved, but not the crown.

Are you the guy that determines NC's for Bama too?

Holy frick you are so clever. Wait, what's the NC thing? Are you saying Bama doesn't have as many as they say they do? I have never heard an LSU fan say that.

I wonder if LSU really has all the titles they claim. Wait, I don't know how many LSU claims because WHO GIVES A shite.

That's the difference between everyone else and you.

It was dirty because it was completely unnecessary, I won't get into the argument of whether or not the crown of the helmet went into Murray's jaw.

the defender saw an opportunity to "legally" (might be able to get away with it) clock the QB, completely unnecessarily, and took it. Good football, but dirty. Not sure how this is debatable

Isn't that EXCATLY wtf you are doing by calling all LSU fans whiny and pathetic??

Don't take this shite so serious and you'll be fine genro.

I actually like a lot of Bama posters on here and it's fun to talk shite and hate Bama.

Get over yourself

LOL

Murray gets hit on the 44 yard line and Clinton-Dix gets tackled at the 47 yard line.

Yet, "Murray is out of the play"

The crown rule only applies to non defenseless players.

If you hit a defenseless player with ANY part of your helmet in the helmet....it is a penalty.

I didn't do that. You have to read it again with a slightly less retarded level of comprehension.

my question is why did murray not just head to the georgia sideline? why did he head toward the alabama sideline....the SAME direction the play headed? i suppose he could have been there to congratulate haha on the INT maybe...i mean he had absolutely NO intent on making perhaps a touchdown saving tackle did he

have you ever played football? Defensive players get a boner when they see the other teams QB prancing towards the ball with his thumb up his arse after he throws he a pick. It was Murray's frickup, not anyone else's. and he paid for it.

good, because it wouldnt matter. It was a legal hit.

so any block where the guy gets lit the frick up, is a dirty hit? I dont get it.

Looking at the angle Murray is taking, if he isn't bulldozed by Dial and HaHa isn't tackled, Murray has an excellent shot to make his first career tackle.

Nah, you know he'd just get trucked by HaHa.

Then that would be a penalty on Bama. "Hitting the tackler too hard. 15 yards on Bama."

Can someone explain why it is always the LSU fans making all the fuss in these threads?

Murray was ready to take a Alabama player out in frustration over his int. You could see the way he was running, foam coming out of his mouth, his eyes were as red as Crimson, nobody would come between him and his prey. I'm suprised Dial didn't get killed. That was frightening.
