LSU played one of the most inspired games I've seen in a really long time, and it was almost enough to overcome some really questionable coaching decisions.
I'm pretty much humbled.

I feel terrible for the players. They know who won that game in every phase except for the scoreboard. Such a devastating loss after an amazing game. You will be hard pressed to find such a dominating offensive and defensive performance against a team as good as 'Bama.

I'm right there with you on rationalizing close losses (or trying to, anyway ). I'll admit, though, just thinking about A&M's last loss against texas makes me feel physically ill sometimes

I had seats in the top middle corner of the south bleachers for that game. I yelled some very unkind things at sherman at the end of it. I know he heard me. I felt kinda bad after he got fired.

im disappointed les miles coached like we were a 25 th ranked team instead of the fifth ranked team. oh well ive moved on.

My family lives in CStat, and I loved Sherman. He recruited my little brother to be a walk on his freshman year. Have nothing bad to say about the guy personally.
But I just felt so sick after that game. I knew it was over, and if you look at his body language, he did, too. I believe it's working out for the best as Sumlin is just the right guy we needed to break into the SEC, but it's a shame the shitshow the 2011 season turned out to be.

Yea. The shite of it was that his 2nd half stats with the texans showed the exact same result as most of our loses. All is right with the world however.
