You know what I do athletically now?
Cycling.
I'm so embarrassed about it, I forgot. I love it, but man, you talk about a group of douchebags who all think they're training for the fricking Tour de France. Those frick bags are it.

Ah My gf is going into Athletic training. Or trying to. Mississippi doesn't have that many options school wise though.

What's eating Gilbert grape?

IM going to go find a blackjack table and prostitute. In either order.

luckily no teeth missing, i think that is requirement to be a full fledged 'bad arse', haha. Keep the beard going strong because of some very janky stitch jobs though.

We have a ton of cyclist here in Louisville.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to run over a good portion of them. I feel bad for the guys that follow road rules and etc.

Never could get into that. Always been a baseball, basketball, football guy. Haven't played any since high school though. 'Cept for intramural's here and there.

It's pretty limited for a chick once you get out of the collegiate ranks. Mostly because when you start getting into the pros locker rooms are combined with the training rooms and they don't want to risk a sexual harrassment lawsuit.

I love riding my bike now, do it on the Katy Trail though... far from most of the 'roadies' in tights. There are a few out there, but not many. Best way (and swimming) to stay in shape without wrecking your body.
You shouldn't feel ashamed, and yes those tour de france guys are the worst.

I don't think she'd wanna get any higher than high school honestly. Especially considering if we get married I'd be moving early on with coaching and all.
ETA: Supposedly the higher up you go the more stressful it becomes.

Haven't cycled since my bike got stolen in college
I miss it--prefer mountain biking to road cycling, though.

That's cool. High Schools around here usually just contract with Universities to get ATs looking for their hours for certification though.

Welllll.
I'm 36, wait till you're 36 and no one wants to play baseball, basketball, or football. If you're like me you'll find something to do. I ran ALOT, but my knees couldn't take it anymore, so I switched to a bike. It's fricking awesome, especially out here, but frick, the douchery is just insane. I refuse to wear the whole clown getup, and I bought my bike at Dicks Sporting goods.
I get lots of frustrated looks when I blow by some frick jacket that spent $8k on his bike. I'm not supposed to kick their arse on my $330 Diamondback I guess.
That's the Missouri in me...

I was with a D-1, now BCS school and it was crazy. Fun but got burnt out really quick.

In Mississippi the high schools usually contract with the hospitals. Sometimes JUCO ATs do some.

I bet that was crazy. How long have you been out?

Lord I'm 21. Don't wanna think about 36 right now.
Hell my knees can't take running some days from football.
