A Texas A&M recruiter was recorded telling HS players that they’d get a lot of money if they decided to play for A&M.

Mississippi state failed to make the SEC tournament after winning it all last year

USC and UCLA are going to the big 10 leaving the pac 12 scrambling like Texas and Oklahoma did to the big 12 last year

TAMU first school ever to cheat in the history of the SEC.

Eastern Michigan openly offered Caleb Williams $1 million to play there.
No, they didn’t. Was Charlie Batch on staff at EMU when that offer was made?

Yes, they did.
Link?

That’s just a link to Google.com.
What I believe you’re attempting to reference is former QB Charlie Batch, who made that offer - which I addressed in my initial response to you.
Charlie Batch was not employed by EMU. So, no, EMU did not make an offer to Caleb Williams.
Reading is hard, I guess.

He made the offer for EMU, you idiot.
So, EMU didn’t make that offer?
Great. Glad we’re on the same page in understanding that someone not employed by a University can’t act on behalf of the University. Whereas the Texas A&M recruiter is a coach on staff & employed by Texas A&M University.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk, sweetheart.

Of course, and what is your point?

When Alabama makes an NIL offer. Do you think the university president calls personally? You really are a fricking idiot.
They offered the kid a million dollars4 and they did it openly.
Dude, if you can’t distinguish between the two scenarios, this conversation is absolutely useless, because you have the IQ of wet cardboard.
One was a former player, never employed by the university, who tweeted an offer. The other was a University employee on the coaching staff actively using it as a recruiting pitch during an official visit.
The fact that you are attempting to equate the two scenarios is laughable and pathetic.
Ultimately, I think what’s actually happening here is that you didn’t know who Charlie Batch was and you’re just too stubborn to admit you were wrong about what went down, which is why you ignored my initial question about him when you brought it up.

If you think coaches don’t pitch NIL on visits at every school, you’re naive. It’s not illegal to talk about NIL and say there are a lot of opportunities to make money if you play at a certain school.
Nick Saban wouldn’t shut up about Bryce Young’s NIL money in press conferences and speaking events. You think his staff isn’t pitching that to every recruit?

It is if you’re using it as an enticement. For example, “y’all getting a lot of money from people in these suites if y’all decide to play here.”
Showing examples of what current players on your roster are making for their deals is not against the rules. Using it as a “if you come play here, you’ll make xxx” is.
I don’t care what Nick Saban does. He didn’t sit in front of a press conference swearing up and down he’s never paid for a player and then call someone else a narcissist and accuse them of cheating because his feelings were hurt.
