Well, like I said, I live there. I've never even witnessed a crime. Atlanta is safe compared to most large cities.

You act like I dont have two eyes of my own to see all the flaming, trolling, and general assholery that goes on here. That is a moron's level of logic and reasoning, to blame some unseen force for events that are evident and plain for all to see on the board.

You are trolling or you haven't paid attention. I've been here from the beginning. I only venture over there when it's clobbering time.
I don't pay attention.
If i was trolling you i would have used some type of 9-6 reference since we're on the SEC Rant.

Yeah, well that's not the route that the gps gave us last time. We were wayyyyyyyyy back in the sticks until Tuskeegee.

Is it possible that everyone feels threatened by Atlanta because you live there?

Someone had to say it

Unless they're traveling through with lots of bourbon, they have nothing to fear from Cat.

What you two do together off the board is none of my business. Just don't bring it here when you break up.

Wait, people don't travel with large amounts of bourbon?

I've always enjoyed Atlanta when I've visited. It's a cool city. That said, I'd feel safer driving through the country anytime. Except for West Virginia. Country and small-town people are usually more friendly and people-focused than city people. I wouldn't hesitate to live in the country or a small town if I had a good job so I could get to the city frequently for some culture.
Columbia, where I live, is a really good mix - it's about 150,000 with the students, plenty of great restaurants, good nightlife, live music, an arts district - yet you're in the country in no more than 15 minutes.

Especially when your guests bring gifts of bourbon.

No speed limit, right?

I'm so out of place in small towns. I feel very uncomfortable in a place that has more churches than bars.

Every exit south of the Georgia State capital until you hit 285 in Forest Park is creepy as hell.
Almost every I-20 exit but downtown is shady.

1) The problem is that you used a gps. I admit I have recently acquired one. I used it to get to BR and to get up to Huntsville. I also checked on google maps before both trips and made sure I knew how to get up there before leaving.
2) I'm fairly certain that Florida is a big enough state that it has some major interstates going into it. You don't have to end up in backwoods Tuskegee.
3) Nothin' wrong with 'skegee. You just jelly.

it's 75, but there is nothing for 60 miles in certain places so you go 100.
