Birmingham is absurd. I've had a Birmingham-Detroit-Philly connection. 
If I'm in Tuscaloosa/BHam, I drive to ATL. If I'm back at my hometown (Lower Alabama) I drive to Fort Walton Beach or Dothan and connect to ATL. frick Bham.

Now I do like flying into Tampa International. Things have always gone pretty smoothly for me there.
ATL they dump my arse off and my next flight is clear across the fricking complex. Every. Time.

I just walked outside to get something out of the car and had my headphones on. Overear headphones outside a house make me feel like a douchebag.

Does anyone else feel like you circle Chicago 50 times before landing at O'Hare? I swear everytime we flew in we spent most of air time circling.
The best small airport was in Lufkin TX. We flew in they dropped us off pulled our buses up and off we went after we unloaded the plane. The ground crew loved how quick we got our bags and cases off the plane.
