I personally don't understand the hesitation. It's a single pic of the person behind the computer. Not like you're posting your social and DL number.

I would post a picture of myself, but I don't have a camera, or a facebook account, or a Photobucket account. Plus, I wouldn't want Chicken's inbox flooded with female posters' demands of a PM system.

I live in Baton Rouge. A LOT of people in BR post/lurk this site. I'm about to get a new job. I prefer my future employer not be able to connect me with my post history.

while this is true, i'm a privacy nut. I don't even have a pic of me up on facebook available to the general public. I don't know why honestly. But it just feels right.

That's cool. I have done a fair amount of bjj and grappling in my day. I go down to Houston every so often for some private lessons but otherwise it is too far to go on a regular basis.
