I'm curious why people are convinced a rematch will happen.

If LSU beats Arkansas and Oklahoma State manages to handle OU, then 1-2-3 would be LSU, Alabama, and Oklahoma State. LSU would be an obvious in leaving voters to choose between SEC West runner-up Alabama and Big 12 Champion Oklahoma State. Is this not an obvious choice? Oklahoma State already has the edge in the computers as it is.

Very well thought out response

OSU is currently 6th in both human polls.
I doubt them beating Oklahoma which TT and Baylor both did is going to give them enough sway with the voters to vault them ahead of Alabama.

Yes. And it's Alabama.

Dude I am all about some
but enough already... if we make it and they beat Auburn it will happen.

Youre absolutely right. You will get bashed, but youre right. Okie St beats OU and they will get in. The computers love them and it will be a travesty if Bama gets in after losing to us at home. No way a team should get in the nat'l championship after sitting on their asses waiting for us to beat UGA. Thats bullshite. We shouldnt have to beat a team twice to win while they would only have to go 1-1 against us

Not scared, just looking at facts. I thought a rematch was a foregone conclusion as well until I actually looked at the rankings and numbers. It's pretty clear cut but this seems to be ignored by indignant Bama fans.

Brah when UA beats AU, it's all over but the crying.

lots of that left for all the haters

Bama and lsu are the two best. If lsu wins out, who is going to challenge them? OSU? VT? Give me a break. Alabama is the answer.
Besides, I am sure the players would like another shot. They probably would like to prove the best team won on nov 5th. They are tired of hearing the best team did not win

Neither of these are correct.
As was pointed out in the other thread, what happens with Stanford and VT is vitally important in determining who goes to the NC game.

Bama already challenged them, and they lost. Throw a new challenger in the ring. Its only fair

lol, nothing has been ignored on this topic.
there have been dozens of crappy posts just like yours over the past 4 days.
there have been dozens of "what if" posts detailing every scenario possible.
you'll get to play in the BCSNCG against #2. Congrats, isn't that what you want?

I've been avoiding the board mostly because of insufferable Alabama fans. I read pretty thoroughly today and saw a lot of bold claims by their fanbase that seem to completely ignore reality. I understand this is the norm for any Alabama fan (how many national titles?) so I thought I'd toss it out there.
