Or so I was told. If that’s the case, this has to be a record for the most 3rd string players drafted in a single year?
LSU 3rd String Players Drafted:
Ed Ingram - 2nd Round
Cordale Flott - 3rd Round
Ty Davis-Price - 3rd Round
Cade York - 4th Round
Neil Ferrell - 4th Round
Damone Clark - 5th Round
Austin Deculus -6th Round
Chasen Hines - 6th Round
1st/2nd String Players Drafted:
*Derek Stingley - 1st Round
*Andre Anthony - 7th Round
*Out vs. Texas A&M
If LSU was able to get 8 third string players drafted, just imagine what they could have done with their 1st or even 2nd string. I’m thinking minimum 7-5? It’s insane to think a team could have that much depth on their roster. Truly remarkable.

The time for this post was last preseason, or right after losing to UCLA (or Auburn, etc). Sure, you don't have the number of drafted players yet, but we all knew there was talent.
Very low hanging fruit to say we (LSU) had a complete idiot coaching the team, and cratering the program as best he could. That should have been a Top 10 team, probably should have won 10 games. You knew it, we knew it, etc.
That's why Orgeron got dismissed and Kelly was brought in. Kelly, who's not a young wunderkind, but instead an experienced and proven guy who has been on the big stage, and knows how to maintain a sense of stability and continuity (instead of flashy schemes or exciting ideas).
We don't need to gamble on a coach, we WILL get talent. We need a guy who knows what he is doing, and won't sweat bullets when he faces a ranked team on the road. LSU doesn't need to be inspired to play over their heads, they need to be coached to play to their abilities.

Flott didn’t play.
I looked it up because I couldn't remember.
It looks like he did play vs Aggie, funny think is OP defeated himself with that point as Flott was clearly LSU's third cornerback behind Stingley and Ricks.

So maybe it’s wasn’t all third strings. Are you okay with admitting A&M lost to mostly backups? I think we had 54 players dressed for the game.

Don’t you have something better to do at 0655 on a Sunday morning in May? The game was 6 months ago. Go enjoy the day.

Verifying.
Recent history indicates that Louisiana State University has an overall success rate of 66% when held to the highest standard of Collegiate Football. LSU achieves this level of play at 100% capacity regardless of Employees ranging from head coach to coordinators on average once every 5 years .
Measuring by the same standard of success, A&M has achieved 0% of desired success rate.
When measured side by side , these programs are simply lopsided due to every major sporting news network database of info and statistic source.
