No they didn't. Tua averaged 6.9YPP. YPP stands for Yards Per Pass. Tua threw 24 passes for 166 yards. 166 divided by 24 is 6.9, not 9.9.
Fromm, on the other hand threw for 232 yards on 32 attempts and that goes for 7.25 YPP.

You might want to check your math. Or, if you think that stat proves one team smoked the other, then Georgia smoked Alabama. We all know that neither is true. That stat does not prove one team smoked the other and Georgia did not smoke Alabama.

When it comes to coaches, I mean we got beat by Gene Chizek. Even if you have a GOAT as a coach or some important player, you're not going to win them all.

Nobody can win them all. there are too many factors that enter into a close football game. Coaching, talent, luck, momentum, mistakes and it goes on and on. If an inferior coach can keep a game close his team has a chance to win. If a superior coach can keep his inferior team close he has a chance to win. Lots of variables. But, in the end, the more talented, better coached team will win more often than not. When you have great coaching and great talent you win 5 titles in 9 years.

I hate UGA but i haven't seen them say this. They're excited sbout the future and they should be as fans but they know titles aren't guaranteed, Kirby may never reproduce what they did last season, but right now everything looks great. Things can all change in an instant for better or worse

The Bama talent advantage over uga is shrinking year by year. That was ultimately the difference last year.

Playing out of position is what the "difference" was last year.

Not one UGA fan is saying Kirby will replace Saban.......right now. We just want to win a fricking NC and string together a few top 5 recruiting classes. Then we will think about replacing Nicky

The player responsible for that dreadful coverage was a 3*. Do you think if we had a secondary littered with 5* All Americans like bama does that maybe we could have defended better?

Your team full of top 100 players needed our safety rated #822 recruit in the nation to be out of position.

Is Urban awful? All of those things can be said about him.
Bobby Bowden stopped calling plays in the late 80s/early 90s and finished in the top 5 for 10 more straight years. Was he a good coach? Who do you consider a good coach?

We have some dumb fans (probably trolling more than anything), but no one is going to truthfully discredit Saban's work and say Kirby is the next King of College Football. Would I like that? Hell yes. Can it happen? Absolutely. I think every fanbase wants that kind of success. And its usually tossed around with new hires, especially when they are showing some great results and/or positive impact to the program. I can't speak for the West, but I guarantee we'll start hearing the same from FL and TN soon if not already. USC is definitely in the talks...Mizzou, Kentucky, and Vandy? Well, it is what it is lol.

Four true things:

1) Saban outcoached Georgia in the 2nd half
2) Saban had 4 years of #1 recruiting classes playing in that game, Kirby had an average class ranking of ~#6
3) This was Kirby's 2nd year of head coaching ... anywhere
4) Saban / Alabama is incredibly lucky that 4th down pass to no one was caught in the endzone

Saban is the better coach, Kirby has tons of upside. Don't know if he'll live up to the hype, but we'll see!

PLEASE PLEASE. Don't compare those guys to DATBLOW.

Urban was a well established positions coach/coordinator then built up 2 programs prior to UF and Ohio State.

Bowden, the same at WVU before FSU.

Good coaches? Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, Kirby Smart.

THOSE ARE GOOD COACHES

UGA fans just want him to start a Red Dawg Club to buy him recruits too. The rest will be nothing. That's all it took for Saban to go from losing to uab and ULM to looking like the GOAT.

Insecurity doesn’t look good on you. Your football god Saban was taken to overtime by a second year coach. It’s ok to admit that y’all are scared
