Are you just naming all the AU running backs you can think of?

This thread didn't turn out the way you wanted it to, did it?

He only played full time one year and led the SEC in rushing, but yeah, CAP would be at or near the bottom of that list.
I was really just too lazy to try and sort out how to rank each one.

If you take Texas' top two running backs from this year, they still only have 2 yds vs. Arkansas

CAP was solid, but he's a back I see not doing anything meaningful in the NFL. As others have harped, he's a system stat guy.

I don't know who has the worst list, but State is somewhere in the middle here. Maybe top middle..
Michael Haddix
Walter Packer
Michael Davis
Keffer McGee
J.J. Johnson
Jerious Norwood
Anthony Dixon
Vick Ballard
Josh Robinson

I always thought Charlie Garner was Tennessee's most under appreciated RB. He only played two seasons and had to share the ball with James Stewart and Aaron Hayden. If memory serves, he was #3 on Tennessee's all time rushing list after his two seasons.

Sonny Collins (1972-'75) -- Kentucky's all-time leading career rushing leader with 3,835 yards on a school-record 777 carries (4.5 ypc), Collins bulled his way to 26 career rushing touchdowns. Collins was named First-Team All-SEC in 1973; Second-Team All-America in 1972; and Third-Team All-America in 1974.
Moe Williams (1993-'95) -- The second leading rusher in Kentucky history with 3,333 yards, Williams ran for a single-season school record 1,600 yards in 1995. Williams holds the top three spots in UK's single-game rushing category, with a UK-record 299 yards on 40 attempts vs. South Carolina in '95 (7.5 yards per carry); 272 yards on 40 attempts vs. Cincinnati in '95 (6.8 ypc); and 238 yards on 35 carries vs. Mississippi State, also in 1995 (6.8 ypc).
Additionally, Big Moe motored his way to the most prolific offensive game in Kentucky history when he posted a Wildcat record 429 all-purpose yards by rushing for 299 yards, having 57 yards receiving, to go along with 73 return yards in the 1995 South Carolina game.
Williams is tied for first in UK history with 26 career rushing touchdowns (his 27 total touchdowns is tied for third in the UK record books), and holds the single-season rushing touchdown mark with 17 in 1995. He is third on UK's career 100-yard rushing game list with 13 in 1995. Williams was named First-Team All-SEC in 1995, and Second-Team All-SEC in 1993.
Rafael Little (2004-'07) -- With 2,996 rushing yards, Little ranks third in rushing yards in school history. His 5.17 career yards per carry average is also third highest in school lore. A multiple threat of the highest order, Little was responsible for 5,343 all-purpose yards in his career (2,996 rushing, 1,324 receiving, 1,023 return), second most in Wildcat annals.
In 2005, Little gained 1,982 all-purpose yards, UK's second best single-season all-purpose performance.
Wow. Would have thought for sure Artose Pinner or Derrick Homer would have been up around that list.

Umm..I wasn't talking about knowshon. He is certainly in the top 5.
I guess everyone has their own set of criteria of a great back. I look at the other four and their ability to man up, be physical, and pound the tackles when there is no passing game and the box is stacked. Chubb has already proven to be a better back to me.

Anybody got 3 RBs that each ran for over at least 4,035 yards and 42 TDs.

John David Crow-Heisman winner
Darren Lewis-All Time SWC Rushing Leader
Curtis Dickey-#5 Overall Pick or Greg Hill

I would have expected to see Johnny Hector in that list.

We had Barry, Herschel, and Bo. I'm pretty sure we did, anyway. I may be misremembering that one fanfic I read about it.

It was a great time to be an Aggie. A lot of people now will complain about the RC offenses but when you had guys like those in your backfield I don't see why you would do anything other than ram it down opponents throats.

Maybe some Vanderbuilt fans can answer better, but they have not had very many All American RBs. So I would go with them
