You should.

It jibes well with the louisianian football culture of victimhood and cross hanging.

It's not enough that the SEC, Red elephant club and NFL are out to get them. Now the recruiting services are as well.

Some of their recruits lost some stars or whatever and they actually believe it's because they're committed to lsu and the recruiting services, just like everyone else is trying to stick it to them. Really, they genuinely believe this. Go skim through some threads, you'll see.

Is their no limit at all to their victimization? Will they ever climb down from the cross?

Where's a shelter or halfway house for victims of football abuse? The lsu fanbase needs a safe space and some group therapy.

If the sport of football is Ike turner, then lsu is tina.

It is bad. They cherry pick the dropped ratings and claim foul play while simultaneously ignoring the big bumps other LSU guys got. It’s a timeless tradition.

I live in Louisiana so I follow the sports teams and fan culture.

The lsu fan culture is fascinating it that the drumbeat of "poor us" victimization is beaten into your collective skulls.

Every fanbase has an identity. The identity of the lsu fanbase is cross hanging victimhood.

They, along with many other schools fell victim to the yearly Texas inflation at Rival and 247 ...

Tyler Owens +52 (up 549 spots since tu offered)
Isaiah Hookfin +128 (up 1158 spots in all since tu offered)
Myron Warren +292 (up 356 spots since tu offered)
T'vondre Sweat +130
Peter Mpagi +475
Jared Wiley +563

A virtual who's who of average ...

LSU has an amazing class, but somebody had to get out of the way for Texas to move up. Oh, and 247 is not done bumping Texas recruits, either.

There's no way it can top the Saints and MSB this past week.

I’m an LSU fan, and that which you have described me as is false bud.
I said before, you have an uncomfortable level of infatuation with LSU. If you despise it so much, why bother looking?
Unless of course you are going out of your way to be a troll. Which is probably the reason.

I wonder if they see this and don't care, or if they don't recognize it in themselves?

It is very, very odd. I've highlighted it in detail on a couple of occasions. Even Auburn, who really does have the deck stacked against them in many cases, do not cling to victim status the way LSU fans do. Really bizarre coming from a fanbase of the only major program in their state who theoretically don't have to share their resources & recruits with anyone else.

Did the LSU football team frick your wife?
Marcell Brooks got bumped to a five star and Kardell Thomas was bumped down to a four star. Every fan base has some weirdos. Every thread you start is insulting people from Louisiana. Is it because your wife and kids think you are a loser?

So aTm (arse to mouth) is to Texas what lsu is to Alabama.

They're largely the same fanbase with the same mentality. These are the same people who concocted a conspiracy theory about the guy who they thought was the head replay official, to the point of fabricating a story about his daughter attending UA and him being a long time booster, etc... Only to discover the guy they created the story about doesn't even work for the SEC any more.

You know what, I just looked at some of their recruits and their history.. you’re exactly right. Their recruits seem to jump a lot for absolutely no reason. So this is something that has been taking place for some time?

You guys resort to deep personal attacks awfully quickly. Very unbecoming and screams insecurity.

Be better.

New Orleans doesn't really care about LSU. Mostly just the alumni that live there. You have no idea what you're talking about.

I don't despise it at all. The lsu compulsion to invite victimhood is fascinating and i'm amused by it. It's an interesting social observation and I hope it never changes.
