You're right on that. That was foolish of me. He was doing it at, what was, the second best program in the SEC West. That's even more of a fall down to fourth or fifth to accomplish the same thing.

I'll agree with this. We are so far removed from relevance that we might as well just start over. The only thing we got going is that our program will never give up on the idea of getting us to the top. Whether that happenes again is yet to be seen.

This guy is hung up on who last won a championship...if that were the case, arkansas would be what, ranked about 40th, since there have been at least 40 teams that have won one since then...and there's was not even a legit NC.....
There is not one poster on this board, if being honest, would rate the auburn or florida program above lsu right now, in football.

As dumb as it sounds, I actually believe this....this is, afterall, an arkansas fan. They have never won a SEC Title, certainly never won 13 games...lol...the only two teams you played that were good this year, you got fricking hammered, and hell, the worst team in the history of the SEC almost and should have beat you guys. yeah, great season.

I would. No doubt about it. But for the last 5 years I would also take Bama, Auburn and Florida over LSU. It wouldn't even be up for debate. If we talk about the entire BCS era then I would probably take LSU over AU but it would be very very close on account that AU got screwed in 2004.

When the assertion is made that Arkansas' 2011 season was preferable to LSU's, including the abject abortion that was the post season, it tends to leave one utterly speechless and filled with laughter.
LSU lost an awful game. It sucked. Terribly. It was an incredible ride getting there.
Arkansas lost one of the very few coaches who could make them semi-relevant, got blown the frick out by both LSU and Alabama and ended up 3rd in the West by virtue of Vanderbilt shitting their pants late in the game.
Oh, and they hired this guy:

The loss to Alabama in the championship game sucked. There's no way around it. There's also no comparing the seasons of LSU and Arkansas.

I really would love to know if you could even name 5 or more players on the LSU roster. Being a woman an all. I have tons of LSU t-shirt fans. That's the first thing I do. Half of them don't even know who they played in the 2003 BCS CG or who the QB was. I swear I've gotten Russell and Davey as answers before. I've never laughed so hard in my life.
